The Figure Skating Camp Alkmaar welcomes talented coaches coming from different countries with very different backgrounds. Among all of them there are technical coaches, professional skaters, professional dancers, choreographers or actors. The Location
De Meent serves as the home base for Deen Figure Skating, offering everything from toddler learn to skate sessions to high-level training for national & international competitors. The facility is well-known for hosting major events like the KNSB Cup and ice shows.

WHAT IS SUMMER CAMP?
Summer Camp is a figure skating camp organized by the Deen Figures Skating Foundation in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. During Summer Camp, national and international figure skaters follow an intensive one, two or three weeks course with classes by national and international coaches and experts to lift their skating skills to the next level.
WHAT DOES SUMMER CAMP DO FOR SKATERS?
Summer Camp is an extensive one or two weeks figure skating course during which skaters can improve their skating skills and techniques, and work on their personal goals. Summer Camp takes place at the end of the Summer break, right before the start of the new competition season and is, therefore, the perfect opportunity for skaters to get back in shape and prepare for the new season.
WHEN DOES SUMMER CAMP TAKE PLACE?
Summer Camp usually takes place at the end of the Dutch Summer break, right before the start of the new figure skating season. Next to that, we hope to offer more skating camps throughout the year in the future.
For our 10th edition, we are hosting our Summer Camp from the 27th of July to the 14th of August 2026.
WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
Our Summer Camp takes place at ‘De Meent’ in Alkmaar which is a multi-sport complex including an ice rink.

WHAT ARE THE DAYS AND TIMES?
The Summer Camp happens from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 18.00. There is no lessons on Saturday and Sunday.
